The Plato: Intermediate vehicle

La Plato is a challenge set by the French Agency for the Environment and Energy Management in 2022, taking the form of electric-assisted quadricycles (with pedals). Our ambition? To serve daily mobility in areas where car dependency is highest and alternative transport options are scarce, through a network of “Mobility Stations.” These stations, accessible on foot or by bike, will feature small fleets of various versions of La Plato. The system operates on a car-sharing model, potentially enhanced by a co-ownership or cooperative component. Designed with a common, standardised, and versatile base, similar to a “skateboard”, La Plato allows for lightweight variations and adaptable uses.
