Plans for Greater Paris

On 28th April 2009, the President of the Republic of France unveiled the results of an international consultation launched in early 2008 for "a new global development plan for Greater Paris". The ten teams selected focused their concepts on two aspects: "the post-Kyoto 21st-century metropolis" and the “orward-looking diagnosis of the Paris metropolitan area". The multi-disciplinary team headed by Jean Nouvel, Jean-Marie Duthilleul and Michel Cantal-Dupart developed a number of themes presented as issues to be integrated  in any future thinking.
