Inauguration of Bellegarde station
The new station of Bellegarde-sur-Valserine which will welcome regional express train and TGV will be inaugurated on May 21st of this year. Situated on a deep railroad site, the intermodal hub includes a passengers building, two car parks, a bus station and answers the requirements of the sustainable development, in particular regarding energy. Of circular shape, the building is structured around two concentric rings. The central hall is put on by an opaque dome dressed in wood. It is encircled by the second hall containing the services, the sieves of access and is surmounted by a transparent dome, overhanging the first one.
